NTB crowned best exhibitor at Zambezi Bream Festival

The Namibia Tourism Board scooped the Overall Best Exhibitor award in the corporate category of the Zambezi Bream Festival and Cultural Expo, held from 4 to 10 August in Katima Mulilo. The achievement shows its commitment to promoting the rich culture and natural beauty of Namibia, and that region specifically.

The festival, which celebrated the cultural diversity and tourism potential of the Zambezi region, attracted numerous exhibitors and
visitors, making it a significant event for tourism stakeholders.

NTB’s innovative presentation and engaging exhibits captivated the audience, earning them the acclaim they displayed throughout the event.

NTB board member Rachel Koch stated that the event garnered significant attention, with notable attendees.

“Energising a collaborative spirit within the tourism sector is essential for us to showcase the incredible potential of Namibia as a premier
travel destination. The connections forged at events like this are invaluable, and we are excited to see the innovative ideas and partnerships that will arise,” she said.

Flora Quest, the spokesperson for the NTB, said they were proud of the achievement: “Receiving t
he Overall Best Exhibitor Award is a significant honour for NTB. It reflects the hard work and
passion of our team and the dynamic culture of Namibia that we aim to highlight. This recognition motivates us to keep promoting the beauty and warmth of our nation.

We are thankful for the support from our partners and the community, which made this success achievable.”

The NTB hosted a stakeholder’s cocktail
networking event, aptly named Happy Hour, during the expo. This promotion took place on the fourth day at the NTB exhibition stand, creating a crucial platform for tourism sector stakeholders to connect, collaborate and share their vision for Namibia’s tourism future.

Happy Hour was an engaging opportunity for
both established and emerging tourism operators to explore new partnerships and strategies aimed at boosting the local tourism economy, while
promoting the unique and diverse attractions of the Zambezi region.
