Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) has historically been a firm supporter of the Miss Namibia beauty pageant with the aim of using the pageant to showcase the splendours of the country. Miss Namibia contestants are usually given an opportunity to experience the different establishments that NWR offers. “The idea is to present contestants with an opportunity to better understand our national parks along with all the camps/resorts. After all, they will be representing Namibia when they partake in other beauty pageants across the world,” explained Mufaro Nesongano, NWR corporate communications and online media manager.
