Bank Windhoek’s Okahandja branch was named the Overall Best Branch of the year at the Bank Windhoek Holdings’ Annual Executive Awards on Thursday.

The Okahandja branch, under the leadership of Johan Pretorius, was also awarded the Gold Award in the Medium Branch Category, while the Silver Award went to The Grove branch.

In the Large Branch Category Maerua Branch was awarded the Gold Award, whilst Bank Windhoek Kudu Branch was awarded the Silver Award.

Bank Windhoek Aranos won the Gold Award in the Small Branch Category, while Oranjemund Branch received the Silver Award.
At the same event the winners of the Bank Windhoek Cancer Apple Project Entrepreneurial Challenge Award were announced and Bank Windhoek Omaruru Branch came out tops, with N$101 000 raised for the project.

The branch that sold the most apples per staff member was Bank Windhoek Ongwediva.

Welwitschia Insurance Brokers (WIB) also awarded their outstanding achievers and staff. In the retail category the Gold Award went to Windhoek main branch.

Best Specialist Finance went to Vehicle and Asset Finance branch, who received the Gold Award.
Capricorn Asset Management (CAM) Awards to retail branches for cross selling included the Gold Award for Swakopmund branch, while Maerua Mall branch received the Silver Award.

Mariental branch won the Gold Award in CAM’s Client Centric Service category, while Keetmanshoop received the Silver Award.
CAM’s Wealth Creation Award trophy went to Executive Banking Coast, while Capricorn Asset Management’s Consistency Support Award went to the Keetmanshoop branch.
