ONDANGWA – The Ondangwa Town Council has announced that the 12th edition of the 2025 Ondangwa Annual Trade Fair is scheduled to take place from tomorrow to Saturday.

The town’s spokesperson Petrina Shitalangaho-Mutikisha said the event will take place at its usual venue, the Ondangwa Trade and Exhibition Centre.

She added that over the years, the Ondangwa Trade and Industrial Exhibition has grown into one of the key platforms for economic promotion and business networking in the northern region.

In 2024, the event hosted over 270 exhibitors from various industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, retail, small and medium enterprises and government institutions.

“This year, the council anticipates an increase in the number of exhibitors, reflecting the continued confidence in the event as a driver for regional economic growth and innovation,” Shitalangaho-Mutikisha added.

This year’s exhibition is held under the theme ‘Building Resilient Industries through Innovation and Smart Partnership’.

The official opening ceremony will take place on 1 July 2025 and will be officiated by the Minister of Urban and Rural Development Sankwasa Sankwasa.

“The exhibition will feature cultural showcases, entertainment and interactive displays, making it both an economic and social highlight on the regional calendar,” she stated.

The trade fair remains a vital opportunity for business to market their products and services, form strategic partnerships and engage with thousands of visitors.

Now, more than ever, the business community and individuals are encouraged to participate and support this year’s event.
