Bare Essentials presents paint & wine sensory experience

Bare Essentials, a renowned provider of luxury soy candles, diffusers, room sprays, mirrors, and beaded jewelry, is set to host an exciting and immersive event called the Paint & Wine Sensory Experience.

This unique candle-painting event will take place on Saturday, 24 June at the exquisite Et Cetera Art Café & Studio in the Old Breweries complex in Windhoek.

Ashley McNab, the founder and creative director of Bare Essentials, promised that the paint and wine experience will be an unforgettable occasion, where guests can indulge in a multi-sensory adventure.

“Bare Essentials hosts sensory experiences, which are holistic events that satisfy and please all your senses. We have different event concepts and every event concept focuses on different interactive activities involving candles,” she told VIBEZ!

At Bare Essentials, every product is meticulously handcrafted to provide customers with the finest home decor essentials.

However, the paint and wine sensory experience goes beyond their usual offerings.

Candle painting is the main activity featured in this event and involves using candle wax and acrylic paint to create beautiful and personalised designs directly on Bare Essential candles.

McNab said this artistic process allows participants to unleash their creativity and transform ordinary candles into unique works of art.

With the assistance of professional artist Jaimee-Lee Diergaardt from Something Artsy, guests will explore different painting techniques and bring their visions to life.

The materials used in the candle painting activity include high-quality Bare Essentials candles, candle wax and acrylic paint. These materials provide the perfect canvas for participants to express themselves artistically.

The paint and wine sensory experience will begin at 11h30 and conclude at 15h00, allowing ample time for attendees to immerse themselves in the creative process.

Throughout the event, guests will be able to enjoy the enchanting ambiance of the Et Cetera Art Café & Studio, while savouring delicious food and beverages.

McNab believes that candles have the power to elevate any space, saying lit candles instantly transform and beautify a space.

“Candles are also known to have a calming effect on us, reducing stress and anxiety. The gentle flicker of a candle flame has been shown to help relax the mind and body, reducing stress and anxiety levels. The aroma of scented candles can also help to promote feelings of tranquillity and calm, making them a great choice for use in homes and everyday life.”

Namibia will witness this extraordinary candle painting activity for the first time, just like all the other Bare Essentials Sensory Experiences.

These experiences are carefully designed to provide a unique and memorable time for all participants. In addition to candle painting, Bare Essentials also offers other interactive events, including the opportunity to create custom candles, tailored to individual preferences.

The theme of the paint and wine sensory experience revolves around individuality. Within the beautifully curated space of the Et Cetera Art Café & Studio, guests will find multiple aura spaces that allow them to explore their own unique artistic style and self-expression. Bare Essentials ensures that each experience they offer is tailored to the participants, guaranteeing a one-of-a-kind adventure.

The paint and wine sensory experience is suitable for individuals of all ages and skill levels.

When asked about the goal of teaching others how to paint candles, McNab said it is not only about teaching a skill but to offer a holistic experience.

“We want our guests to be in awe of the environment we create, the food and drinks, the candles and the painting activity – an explosion of beautiful, scents, flavours and a magical ambiance.”

Do not miss the opportunity to be part of this extraordinary experience.
