Over 300 students graduate from Stadio

Stadio Namibia had its spring graduation ceremony on Monday at the Country Club in Windhoek. The institution celebrated and validated the spring graduation ceremony for the class of 2023 with over 300 graduates who graduated from higher certificates to doctorate levels.

Brighten Simasiku, head of Stadio Namibia, said that in 2024, Stadio will give people access to higher education with access to even more opportunities.

This will be an inclusion in the fields of study to support people in their personal and professional growth. Therefore, there will be an expansion of the scope of the offering by adding a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Inclusive Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Supply Chain Management, and several new streams in the management programmes.

“I hereby announce generational wealth news to all our postgraduate students who recently graduated from levels eight, nine and 10. As you received your graduation certificates, additionally, you will receive a Stadio share certificate, which will give you a share in the Stadio group and ownership in the Stadio business,” he said.

Simasiku added that, Stadio Higher Education has not only equipped graduates with knowledge and skills but has also helped them grow as individuals. They have learnt to think critically, communicate effectively, and collaborate with their peers.

Some graduates lauded Stadio’s convenience. They said the flexible timetable allows students, especially those employed, to organise their academic and professional commitments seamlessly.

Additionally, the institution’s flexible payment system enables students to manage their finances effectively while pursuing higher education.

Speaking at the graduation, Kennedy Kaumba, an academic from the Namibia University of Science and Technology, the guest speaker, said students’ time at Stadio has not only equipped them with knowledge and skills but has also helped them grow as individuals.

“In the face of unprecedented challenges, you have shown resilience and adaptability. The world witnessed your ability to pivot, to learn, and to innovate. The skills you’ve acquired during your time here will serve as a strong foundation for your future endeavours, whatever they may be,” he said.
