Bank Windhoek has appointed Gerson Phiri as branch manager at Rundu with effect from January 1, 2016. Phiri succeeds Anette Durand who will retire on December 31.

Phiri holds a diploma in practical accounting and has made significant progress in his banking career since joining Standard Bank in 2001. He joined Bank Windhoek in July 2015 as a seasoned banker with good branch management experience and was taken on board on the Advanced Talent Program as branch manager.

“We wish Gerson success with his new responsibilities and know that his extensive knowledge and experience will contribute towards making Bank Windhoek, and in particular the Rundu branch, the preferred Bank in Namibia,” said Linus Gwala, Executive Officer for Human Resources at Bank Windhoek.
