Police have arrested four suspects in connection with two armed robberies that occurred in the capital within the space of a week.

One of the armed robberies took place at Farm Hoffmung last week. The suspects were arrested at Hakahana.

Upon their arrest, the police recovered different currencies inclu-ding euros, Namibian dollars, and US dollars. Police could, however, not determine the total value of the money.

The suspects are expected to appear before the Katutura Magistrates’ Court today on charges of robbery and possession of foreign currency.

Two suspects were also arrested in the capital after they allegedly entered the Atlanta Meat Market, in the Northern Industrial Area. The suspects, who were apparently armed with pistols, ordered everyone in the market to lie down. They got away with N$24???_?_’???_?’???_???
