WINDHOEK – Standard Bank has relaunched its Prestige Account, which is uniquely tailored to meet the banking and lifestyle needs of young professionals. For only N$199 per month, Prestige clients receive a wide range of services, offered in a reliable, time efficient and convenient fashion, allowing them to bank anytime, anywhere, with no long waiting periods or long queues to delay them.

“It goes without saying that we are a leader in providing innovative financial solutions that speak to our customers’ needs in Namibia. As such, it was important for us to relook our Prestige Account and redesign it to fully cater to the needs of our young professionals. We are constantly challenging ourselves to do better than we have previously done; the existing Prestige Account was good but we made it better,” Standard Bank’s Prestige and Student Banking Manager, Garth Petersen said of the relaunch.

When they join the Prestige Inner Circle, young professionals will have enhanced benefits such as access to a dedicated Financial Advisors, dedicated branch-based service areas and faster ways to make and receive payments.

Reiterating that the Bank is continuously working on enhancing its financial services, which has led to the improvement of products and customer service, Petersen explained that it is imperative for the leading financial institution to give its customers the best service by providing them with tailor-made and innovative products.

Once young professionals join the inner circle and become Prestige Account holders, they receive a Gold Current Account which comes with Gold Debit and Credit Cards that are accepted online, as well as Savings and Investments accounts such as a Call account, Bonus deposit, Notice and Fixed deposit, all at their fingertips.

The Prestige Account value bundle includes unlimited electronic transactions,
free debit card point of sale purchases, free credit card point of sale purchases and free internal account transfers (internet banking), to name a few.

“Prestige Bankers are also supported by Prestige Line consultants who are available to assist clients telephonically with their day-to-day banking needs and queries, even after hours and on weekends,” he stressed.

To ensure that Prestige clients are protected for all of life’s unpleasant surprises, clients receive death cover of up to N$114 000 for (6x Net Monthly salary), physical impairment cover of up to N$114 000 for (6x Net Monthly salary and a funeral cover to the value of N$10 000.
