Model to offer modeling classes

Namibian full-time fashion model and entrepreneur, Rahab Inghalwa, known as Rahab, is offering modeling classes for a month starting October 6 at different venues around the capital.

Rahab recognised as a professional model and was also awarded a certificate as one of the top models in the United Kingdom (UK). She says the modeling classes will train and teach aspiring models on how to catwalk, get a modelling agency, how to be a model, how to brand-image themselves as well as on how to work with international brands in the modeling arena. 

Rahab also wants to grow the modelling industry in Namibia, and help local models to work on their own, instead of paying agencies for shows and promotions. “I also want to groom local models and help them with the websites that provides model castings and portfolio, as well as train them on how to invest in their own brands,” she says. 

Models younger than 16 years, need parental or guardian approval for the training. Payment of N$ 250 is required for four Saturdays in October is required. Rahab says registration has already started and booking is done online at www.ravendaposh.com. All sessions will be documented by a professional photographer, and at the end of the training, models will feature in her brand, Ravenda Posh’s campaign and photo shoot to be announced at a later stage.
