Seven African teams are scheduled for battle in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa qualifier, from 22-30 November 2023, at Wanderers and Trustco United Cricket Ground in Windhoek.

Cricket Namibia is delighted to host the Africa T20 World Cup Qualifier, an important event to push African countries closer to their World Cup dreams.

Cricket enthusiasts in Africa are buzzing with excitement as the highly anticipated T20 World Cup qualifiers are set to take place in the Land of the Brave. The competition is expected to be fierce and action-packed, with only two coveted spots up for grabs. This momentous event marks a significant milestone in the journey of African cricket teams towards global recognition.

The stage is set for an exhilarating series as the seven members gear up to compete in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa qualifier. With only two available spots, the stakes are high as Namibia plays host to this fiercely contested tournament. 

The participating teams include Test nation Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Rwanda. The journey to secure a place in the prestigious ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in June 2023 adds an extra layer of excitement to the competition, promising the cricket community a thrill. – Cricket Namibia
