Paul to host Voice Perfect Namibia Season 2

Paul Da Prince has been announced as the host of the ‘Voice Perfect Namibia’ host. The singing competition is returning soon for a second season.

Paul, who has solidified himself as a respected brand in the country, has been making boss moves lately, and it is a beautiful sight to see. Taking to his social media account to share the exciting news, he wished contestants of the upcoming season all the best and said they should make this season memorable.

The ‘Voice Perfect Namibia’ recently unveiled this year’s judges – and the list includes Lioness, Chikune, Folabi Nuel and Lize Ehlers. This year, the winner will walk away with N$20 000 as cash prize, a recording deal with Zunde Records, a promotion deal with Viralcom, a tour with Nakazaza Tours and Safaris, a marketing deal with Chiled Investments, and a song with one of the judges.

Last year, Paul Shipanga was crowned the winner of ‘Voice Perfect Namibia’ Season 1. Speaking to Confidente, Voice Perfect Namibia founder Laurentius Haindaka last year said they received more than 200 video entries countrywide.

“We received more than 200 video entries countrywide, with all the regions represented and 80% of the towns in Namibia represented, but only 175 entries were successful; the rest were unsuccessful.”

He stated that having no adequate resources to run a talent competition can be difficult.

“Running a talent competition can be costly, but we managed with the little resources available from the few sponsors who came on board. It has been challenging getting sponsors, as many are narrating the inability to come on board due to the impact Covid-19 has had on their business operations,” he said.

It is a beautiful sight to see Paul winning after he recently hogged the headlines for bad reasons.

Paul was recently detained after not being in possession of a proper work permit to work in the country.
