ONGWEDIVA – A 59-year-old school principal from Otunganga circuit is alleged to have collapsed and died while waiting to be assisted at FNB Namibia’s Ondangwa branch yesterday. 
The alleged incident happened at about 10h00.

According to police spokesperson in Oshana Inspector Tomas Aiyambo, an ambulance was called to his rescue when he became unconscious.
“When he became unconscious, the ambulance was called to attend to him, but paramedics declared him dead at the scene,” said Aiyambo.
Information gathered from family members is that the victim was diabetic.

His body has been transported to Oshakati police for a post-mortem.
The victim hails from Ekamba A village in Oshigambo.
