Top trending - Peter Shalulile’s goal-scoring form

The top trending clip on our radar is of a young Shalulile supporter who reenacted the same dive that Peter does when he scores, which is running in a skating manner and then diving in the ground.

In the 19 seconds clip widely shared on social media, the supporter can be seen throwing himself on the ground and looking rather intoxicated. The clip was loaded by Ronald E’shallah Boikanyo on Facebook with the caption: Botswana’s own Shalulile Celebration. Wearing a white vest, the diver and football enthusiast could be seen with the name Shalulile 38 hand written with a red marker at the back of his t-shirt, signifying his true love and support for Shalulile’s on the pitch tactics.

The 27-year-old Shalulile has been a hype of celebration lately performing exceptionally well now at his new home in the South African Premier Division side Mamelodi Sundowns.

His style of celebration has been worrying some people off the field including his coach Manqoba Mngqithi who was quoted by The Citizen saying his striker should opt for another style than his dive and narrating that Shalulile’s ‘dangerous’ celebration is difficult to control.

“That celebration will be difficult to control because emotionally, we don’t know what happens to him when he scores a goal. We would prefer better celebrations, but if he keeps scoring and he celebrates the way he does, then I don’t mind,” opined Mngqithi.

Mngqithi added: “Maybe once I see something that will cause problems for him I would mind, but as it is now he has played almost every game for us and he never gets injured. He is a very good fighter, a top soldier and a great professional. I am sure every coach would like to work with a player like him.”
