The school had its academic award and valedictory ceremony held on September 15.  The other two top performers in Grade 12 with Stein are

Lorenzo Anderson and Paulina Ndafonghoshi. Precious Alao, Memory Ndjuluwa, Reime Cloete and Cara Cloete were selected as top performers in Grade 11, while Wayne Mckay, Raumally Arendse and Eino Shinehungi selected as top performers in Grade 10.

Ndafonghoshi, who is also deputy junior mayor, did not hide her joy. “I feel extremely happy and have a sense of pride knowing that what I achieved to be one of the top performers in Grade 12 was due to my hard work.
I would like to advice fellow learners to keep pushing forward. Be positive always. Do not just study to pass, but study to pass well,” says Ndafonghoshi.

She received a trophy for third position and cash prize as well as a few other cash prizes for the different subjects were she obtained certificates.

The school principal Shyral Beukes explains that the award ceremony was a huge success, applauding the companies who sponsored it.
