unWrap - Kurzca claps back to body shamers

Jeoffrey Mukubi

Kurzca has officially dropped her second single, titled ‘Dat is Good’, which features South Africa’s most luscious female rapper Nadia Nakia. The feel-good jam is definitely on course to be a hit and may drive Kurzca’s popularity as a musician to the next level.
The set and location complement the song, but it also did not come without any hate, as some people on Instagram started to share opinions on why the ladies look the way they look, which, according to them, is provocative and unnecessary.

“Why do female artists these days have to be in bikinis to express themselves. Let your talent open the door for you because you are definitely talented,” Daniel Sandoval wrote under her post.

Another fan came to her defence, writing “Who cares? Like I said to someone else, the music industry is not about the “music” anymore. It’s about the artist’s presence. Do you really think people would care at the end of the day once they see Kurzca’s body and hear her voice?
Nonetheless, Kurzca herself was unbothered and told unWrap.online that her body is her temple and she is not afraid to show it off.
“I work hard to keep it healthy and in shape. I say if you got it, flaunt it! Love your body and don’t be afraid to show it off; no matter what your shape or size! I’ll continue flaunting my curves because I love my unique physique and I want other women to embrace theirs and show it off without feeling judged or afraid of what society might think of them,” she said.
Kurzca says she had a blast collaborating with Nadia Nakai.

“Nadia is such a great person to work with: very down to earth and an amazing personality and spirit. It didn’t even feel like work; we had so much fun making music together,” Kurzca said.
