WINDHOEK– About 600 school learners from across the country will gather tonight at the Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW) hall for a Quiz Night as part of the National Science Fair under the theme ‘Discover, Imagine, Create’.
The aim of the Quiz Night is to stimulate interest in science and science related fields through fun activities. The quiz Night is a general knowledge competition on science related topics. The NamPower National Science Fair, of which the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST) is a co-sponsor and partner, is an annual event where the best science fair projects from all the regions compete against each other. The fair started yesterday and will run until Friday at the SKW Sport Fields in Windhoek.
Winners of the Quiz will walk away with various prizes including school equipment hampers, promotional items, book vouchers and many more. The quiz starts at half-past five o’clock (17H30) until half-past seven o’clock (19H30).
