Home Kavango West RDP elects new leaders for Kavango

RUNDU – The Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP) has elected its regional secretaries, deputy secretaries and regional committee members for the two Kavango regions.

A total of 35 posts were filled in Kavango East while 34 positions were filled in Kavango West. The elections took place last Saturday in Rundu.  Shampapi Pauline Kapande was elected the regional secretary for Kavango East, while Martins Kafuro was elected the regional secretary for Kavango West.

“The aim of the meeting was not only to elect new leadership but also to map out a strategic plan, because as a party we have to be prepared for the upcoming elections. The process was transparent,” said Mike Kavekotora, RDP secretary general.
