WINDHOEK– The Red Flag Commando Hall in Katutura is the rendesvouz tonight and tomorrow night for lovers of traditional dances when the St. Stephen Roman Apostolic Church hosts a traditional dances extravaganza.
Paatjee Meroro, Secretary of the church, says the traditional music show aims to take the community back to its roots, for it to know and remember where it comes from. Folklorists are also addressing and educating their communities on the cultural ways of the community in the past. Among them Hiangaruu Veseevete, Dave Veziruapi Rukero. They also hope and expect a representative of the City of Windhoek to make the community aware of the effect of damage to property and how the community can help maintain these properties.
