RFS Fund Administrators (RFS) has made two strategic staff movements that reinforce its commitment to service excellence and leadership in the Namibian pension fund industry.
Vincent Shimutwikeni joined RFS from 1 June, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge in governance, legal compliance and retirement fund policy.
He holds a Baccalaureus Juris degree, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a certification in Governance, Risk and Compliance.
He previously served at the University of Namibia and as a trustee of the Universities Retirement Fund (UNIREF), where he developed a specialised interest in pension law and long-term investment strategy.
His appointment adds a strong voice to RFS’s advocacy for inclusive financial planning and sustainable retirement outcomes for all Namibians.
At the same time, Veueza Kangueehi was appointed as senior manager of Benchmark Fund Accounting, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey within RFS.
She joined the company in 2016 after gaining experience at Alexander Forbes.
She brings over a decade of pension fund industry expertise to her new leadership role.
Kangueehi holds multiple academic qualifications , including an Honours in Business Management and a Bachelor of Technology in Accounting and Finance.
She is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Development Finance.
Her elevation to senior management underscores RFS’s commitment to internal talent development and gender representation in leadership.
“These appointments reflect our ongoing investment in talent with the expertise and vision to lead RFS into the future,” said Marthinuz Fabianus, managing director of RFS.
“Both Shimutwikeni and Kangueehi exemplify the values of dedication, integrity and innovation that define our approach to fund administration,” he added.
RFS said it remains committed to building a team that not only supports the evolving needs of its clients but also actively contributes to the development of Namibia’s financial services sector.
