WINDHOEK-The search for the University of Namibia (Unam), Miss Ogongo Campus has begun with the crowning slated for August 9 in the Lyakandenge Hall in Ogongo.
Organiser of the pageant, Success Da Silva, says more than ten beauties will compete against one another for the title. Da Silva says the main aim of the pageant is to give young Namibian models within the university a platform showcase their beauties and brains as well provide them with an opportunity to boost their self confidence.
Artists such as Gazza, Blacksheep and Young Kasi will be entertaining quests at the crowning. The pageant is sponsored by Unam, Da Silva Modeling foundation, Supreme Records and Entertainments, Chippa Trading Enterprises, Omulaule Investments and Fashion World.
Tickets are N$ 25 to students with student cards and N$ 40 for VIPs. Doors open at seven O’clock (19h00).
