WINDHOEK – Woema went to test the self-parking ability of the Opel Adam, at Auas Motors and was surprised to learn that this small cars could search for a parking and informs the driver whether the parking found is for parallel parking or reverse parking.
If the driver is satisfied with the parking choice, all what is required is to put the gear in parking mode and let the Adam ease itself into the parking.
Adam Glam with its high tech options makes driving simpler, safer and more comfortable. When driving the Adam’s intelligent wing mirrors use sensors to detect traffic in the blind spot and would flash a light in the mirror if the driver attempt to change lines with a vehicle in the blind spot.
Another feature is the anti-back roll. When the brake pedal is released it maintains the brake pressure for up to two seconds to prevent backward movement.
