After offering life coaching services on a low key for about four years, radio personality Chareen Kauazunda, better known to her listeners on FreshFM as Shai-Quan, recently announced her new venture called ‘Grow with Shai’.
‘Grow with Shai’ is a personal development coaching business that “helps uncover the best you to live an intentional life”.
Shai-Quan offers herself to help those in need reclaim their personal power, tap into their abundance, and move away from living in survival mode.
“Life gets so overwhelming at times with family, career, maintaining relationships and social lives that it’s easy to forget about you. You need an accountability partner to help you set attainable goals and help you through that journey, and help you stop vibrating from a ‘lack of’ mindset and fear. So, ultimately, these services help you step into your power,” she told VIBEZ!
Having overcome the imposter syndrome to get to this point in her life, Shai-Quan is now able to help overcome their fears too.
“With me, it was quite a struggle because I am a perfectionist, and I am very hard on myself. That held me back for so long, and I had to pray myself out of that space as I was conflicted about pursuing this calling that God has placed on my life, and if I am going to make Him proud and really change lives like he wants me to. Then through my quiet time with God, he asked me ‘why doubt what I have called you for?’ That was the confirmation I needed, and here I am, ready to serve.”
Shai-Quan said she was operating on the low because she was not ready to put herself out there, but continued to use her voice on radio for the betterment of others. “Self-doubt held me back from stepping into this space. People would reach out to me on endless occasions, and would come back with great reviews because I have helped them so much. But I guess that goes to show how one can easily hold themselves back and play small.”
Although she has completed courses on coaching and plans on doing more, the radio host explained that one does not necessarily have to be a qualified life coach to help others, saying experience, for her part, counts to take up the role.
“I say this because the world has evolved so much that even corporate companies opt to hire someone based on their experience only. However, it is important to be knowledgeable and passionate about said subject to be in a position to help the next person and achieve success with the business.”
‘Grow with Shai’ focuses on personal growth, self-discovery, life audit, creating dream boards and general life counselling.
