At least 15 foreign crew members of the Venus fishing vessel (mainly Russians) belonging to Hodago, say they have been stuck on the vessel for several months. In a video currently circulating, the crew alleges that their passports have been confiscated by the company and are now appealing to the Russian Embassy for assistance. The embassy told New Era that it is aware of the situation and is working with relevant authorities to resolve the issue.
