Home Crime and Courts Suspected murderer of Finnish national denied bail

Dannie Rodney Shaningwa, the 43-year-old man suspected of killing Finnish national Ronni Marco Uolevi, made his first appearance in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court today. Shaningwa is accused of killing Uolevi – by shooting at him nine times – last weekend at a popular Windhoek pub. After days of concerted manhunt by the police, Shaningwa was arrested yesterday at his Windhoek North house. He was denied bail and police investigations in the matter continue.
