The 34-year-old teacher is expected to appear in the Katutura Magistrate Court today for raping a 13-year old girl between the period of May and October this year.

In another matter a group of four unknown suspects who robbed a man of his cellphone and fled turned against each and started arguing.

Shikwambi said that during the argument one of the suspects stabbed his friend in the chest and fled the scene. The deceased was identified as 24-year-old Lucas Nghishitile. She added that one of the three suspects has been arrested.
In Otjozondjupa Region, a 40-year-old man from Kalfeld was found dead with stab wounds in the chest and neck. Shikwambi said that Martin Doeseb allegedly left home on Saturday to buy his tobacco and unfortunately never returned home. She said no suspect was arrested and police investigations continue.

Police in Otjimbingwe, Erongo Region arrested a 17-year-old after he stabbed a 27-year-old with a knife in the neck. The deceased has been identified as Robert Micheal.
