WINDHOEK- Fashion design students of the University of Namibia (Unam) will once again be showcase their work at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) Gallery next Friday, November 7.
Every year Unam’s organises a fashion show of their fashion design students.
This annual event, organised by Unam’s Visual and Performing Arts Department, offers the students an opportunity to show their work, as well as to meet people from the creative industries. This year’s highlight is Marcellinus Swartbooi, who was awarded an Excellence Award. As tradition, Unam invites a guest designer, who is an Alumnus, to also showcase her/his garments. This is to inspire current and future students. Damage at the door is N$50 and N$20 for students.
