WINDHOEK– Nangolo Benson, better known as Buzzuma is an upcoming kwaito artist who’s currently trying to make it big with his first and recently released song Tsuna Ngao.
With four singles out, the 21 year-old Windhoek based rapper is keen on music and started in 2010 while free styling at school events and listening to the likes of The Dogg, Exit, Mushe, Gazza and Akon. His song Tsuna Ngao is about encouraging people to work together and stay focus in what they are doing. “People often doubt new comers and never tend to give us a chance but I want to change that perception. I want to take the game to the next level,” says Buzzuma. He says besides the love he has for music, he also does it to make a difference. “I want to live a mark, to inspire people through my lyrics as well as do what is good and leave the bad behind,” he says.
So far, Buzzuma has performed at various events such as the Facebook Lounge and many other beauty pageants in Ondangwa and Windhoek.
He encourages fellow artists to work together and do collaborations. “Don’t just do your own thing, go out there and feature other artists because sometimes it’s the only way to make a breakthrough.” Buzzuma encourages.
