A mother is nothing but a heavenly being who is wonderfully made to protect, endure and live for her kids. She is strong enough to go through the journey of pregnancy for plus-minus 280 days.
Every mother there is in the world was privileged to feel the very first kick of the bundle of joy that was growing inside her. It was never an easy task, but God properly instilled women with courage, and made them walking miracles, be it bodily, spiritually and emotionally.
Simple motherly gestures are meant to always be able to properly nurture kids and take responsibility for their children’s happiness, and rightfully instill the good values needed for them to grow into responsible adults.
A mother is the greatest teacher, a teacher of compassion, love, fearlessness and if one takes a mother’s lectures seriously they can conquer the world and live their lives by righteousness and live to be noble and adults of responsibility.
No one will ever know the strength of the love a mother offers, only her children. Besides, they are the only ones who know what the heart sounds like from the inside.
A mother always gives lectures when the kids are going astray, or gives just a simple hint of what the future might hold, and their heart always aches if they have to see their kids living wrong lifestyles that they never taught them to live.
She is one in a million and the very first best friend one is bound to have. Mothers are always ready to take you through the journey of life until you are ready to let go of her hand and live on your own terms with the values she instilled in you.
She is always there to cry with you in times of sadness, pick you up when you fall and help you find your way when lost in the chaos of the world. When you are happy it makes her heart happy too and she will be there to dwell in your happiness too.
They have hearts of pure gold. They are forgiving, tolerant and endure every hardship that comes with motherhood. A mother does not always have to be biological, but every woman that has compassion towards children can be a mother.
I know there are mothers out there who are heartless, even towards their own flesh and blood. They treat them as if they are less human and are a waste of space on earth. This is not how it is supposed to be, a mother is a lioness, she helps take care of problems, build confidence and makes one feel loved, protected and entirely safe in the world.
Trust me, mothers make us, but we also make them mothers. So with this in mind, let’s all take care of our mothers, as they are gems of life. I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge the upbringing of my mother, Ndeshipewa Kapanga Helao, it is because of her that I am who I am today.
