WINDHOEK – An alleged shoplifter who failed to turn up for her scheduled court appearance on Wednesday earned herself a warrant of arrest with immediate effect. 

Maria Petrus who was granted bail of N$300 after she was caught stealing three pairs of shoes, one bra and a panty at Mr Price Store with a combined value of N$309.95 has until February 05 to appear before the court and provide a satisfactorily explanation for her no-show. She should give an explanation as to why she did not show up or risk losing her bail money and be held in police custody until the court finalizes her case.
