Maurice Kambukwe

Beauties head coach Erol Damaseb, has expressed anticipation for their upcoming match against Tura Magic. Speaking yesterday, he said that Saturday’s match at the Namibia Football Association (NFA) technical centre would be a chance to see just how strong his team really is.

“The last time we faced Magic was during the first leg, they reigned supreme with a 4-3 win but this time around, we know their strengths and weaknesses, and we believe the results will be different,” Damaseb said.

Despite acknowledging that the match would be one of the toughest yet, Damaseb is confident in his team’s ability to come out on top. “For us, it will be a great match to test ourselves but we do know them, and we have worked on our team strength, so we should be ready to go,” he added.

Shama Gure of Tura Magic, on the other hand, shared his excitement about the match, describing it as a thrilling encounter between two strong teams. He also highlighted the challenge of facing an opponent who knows them well. “We remain ready for any team that we face, not just Beauties but any team. We will go there to ensure that maximum points are secured,” he said.

However, Gure did note that his team was facing a setback with six first eleven players out due to injury. Despite this, he expressed confidence in his team’s ability to execute their plan effectively. “We anticipate those that come in to do the job, and we are positive that they will deliver,” he added.

In other matches, Ramblers will face Arrow Ladies on Friday, while on Saturday; Ongwediva Queens will face Namib Daughters.

Omaheke Queens will face NUST Babes. UNAM Bokkies will take on V-Power Angels, while Right Way will face Okahandja. On Sunday, the games will continue with Ongwediva Queens facing Arrow Ladies, Omaheke Queens facing V-Power Angels, and UNAM facing NUST Babes before Right Way takes on Beauties.
