WINDHOEK – Twenty-four-year-old Katrina Nuuyoma appeared in the Katutura Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday for allegedly hitting Priscilla Gotlieb with a brick on her head on Sunday in Greenwell Matongo.
Nuuyoma allegedly also smashed Gotlieb’s flat screen television set and television stand, and damaged her corrugated iron sheets with a panga. It is not known what gave cause to the violent outburst. The damage caused by her actions is estimated to be N$6 300, according to court papers.
Nuuyoma was granted bail of N$1 000 and the case was remanded to October 09, 2013. Magistrate Claudia Claasen presided.
