WINDHOEK – Thirty-year-old Nicolene Steyn from Erf C11, Arebusch Travel Lodge made a first appearance yesterday in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court for theft.
Appearing before magistrate Ingrid Unengu, she faced a charge of stealing a pair of sandals.
It is alleged by the State that Steyn stole a pair of multi-coloured leisure sandals worth N$360 at Truworths, Wernhil Park on Monday.
Steyn who is represented by Sarel Maritz was not asked to plead to the charges presented to her by public prosecutor George Mhoney and her police bail of N$800 that she paid after her arrest was extended to her next court appearance on January 17 next year.
