The Your Turn Move Foundation is hosting the White Nossob Trail Run and MTB Cycling Challenge on 25 November 2023 in Witvlei, Omaheke region.
This event has become one of the key activities on the Foundation’s annual calendar, following its debut last year.
The foundation believes that this initiative will create awareness about Witvlei as an important regional business hub and allow the Witvlei community to participate, meet new people, create business opportunities and have fun.
The YTM Foundation is further thrilled to announce it is building on the resounding success of the 2022 White Nossob Trail Run with the addition of the MTB Challenge.
There are various race categories to choose from; the Trail Run has three race categories: the 6km run and walk, the 8km run and the 16km run, whereas the MTB Challenge has two categories: 70km and 35km.
The event aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle while enjoying the stunning outdoors that Witvlei has to offer.
Participants can look forward to well-marked trails, challenging terrain and breathtaking views along the way.
In addition to the main races, the event will also feature food stalls, music and a vibrant atmosphere to have fun.
Whether you are competing or cheering on friends and family, the White Nossob Trail Run and MTB Challenge promises a memorable day for everyone.
“We are excited to bring this event to Witvlei and the Omaheke region. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase the natural beauty of the area and experience the ‘white sand’ of the White Nossob River,” said a YTM spokesperson.
