The fifth Bank Windhoek Kidz Fun Fair and Family Expo took place on Friday and Saturday at the SKW Sports Grounds here. The Bank Windhoek BizzKids finalists got the opportunity to showcase their business ideas by selling their products at the Kidz Fun Fair and Family Expo. Marlize Horn, Executive Officer, Marketing and Corporate Communication Services at Bank Windhoek, and also one of the judges comments as follows: “Choosing the top three winners was not an easy task, as all the BizzKids put in a lot of effort to provide the best quality products and services to their customers.

However, the judges were very much impressed by the innovative idea of Keanu and Keyat da Silva, who not only made and sold something very different from the rest of the finalists, but also had a fantastic sales pitch, which attracted many customers that bought their products. They explained to the judges that they were making a good profit on their sales, as they had sponsors who supported them in producing the products. The Bank Windhoek BizzKids Competition aims to promote entrepreneurship amongst the youth, and judging by the business ideas and passions displayed by the BizzKids finalists, Namibia have many future entrepreneurs in the making.”
