WINDHOEK – The Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth, National Service, Sport and Culture, Dr Vetumbuavi Veii, called on participants doing the Fifa Administration and Management course underway at the Safari Hotel in Windhoek to ensure that they gain as much as possible to enable Namibia to host successful sporting events in the future.

Veii made the call when he officially opened the Fifa course for a group identified by the Namibia Football Association (NFA) in preparation for the Women’s CAF Championship to be held next year. Fifa regional instructor and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Swaziland Football Association Frederick Mngomezulu is the course facilitator, assisted by local Fifa regional instructor Mathew Haikali and NFA national instructor Roger Kambatuku.

Participants in the course include Dawid Morgan (Khomas), Julien Garises (NFA Women’s Desk), Lukas Veldskoen (Hardap), Crooks Nunuheb (Omaheke), Jessica Nguaondu (NFA Secretariat), Meriam Tjivikua (NFA Secretariat), Naomi Cloete (NFA Women’s Desk), Bernadine Negonya, Salome Iyambo, Tovey Hoebeb (NPL), Nawa Mya Goreses, Gilroy Xoagub, Jo-Ann Manuel (MYSSC), Gabes Chippa Kasupi, Hector Mawonga, Tim Isaacs, Mervin Geiriseb, Aindongo Jakob, Amakali Shali, Cole Mungendje, Joanitha Gowases, Jacky Gertze and Dawid Goagoseb.
