WINDHOEK – The 3rd week of the first ever CAF Coaching A-License Course on Namibian soil for elite coaches  enters its final block starting next Monday 9 September until the 20th at Soccer House in Windhoek.

Participants will use the first week as preparation for the final examinations to be conducted by a CAF Examiner from 16-20 September 2013. The examination will cover the following aspects: Theoretical Examinations, Football Theory, Laws of the Game, Sports Medicine, Sports Psychology, Administration & Management; Practical Examination (on the field) and Oral Examination (Tactical Board).

Top Namibian coaches and three South African coaches will attend the course which will touch on issues of physical load of a professional footballer, speed training, endurance, psychology of players; styles of player’s leadership; the role of the coach in a team, medicine, fitness and technique training, amongst others.

The participants are  Jacqui Shipanga, Martin Bock, Timo Tjongarero, Gilbert Rwasoka, Lucky Kakuva, Christy Guruseb, Max Johnson, Gerald Guther, Willem Kapukare, Kamaal Sait, Hesham Ibrahim, Kati Nambandi, Agnus Elemu, Lucky Shipanga, Woody Jacobs, Rodney Doeseb, Bobby Samaria and Sikerete John Sikerete.

Another administration and management course starts in a fortnight’s time.
