… Challenge a partership with Trustco
WINDHOEK – The inaugural edition of the Bank Windhoek Corporate Challenge Relay is to take place at the Trustco United Sport Club, east of Windhoek on Saturday.
The relay, which is a partnership between Bank Windhoek and Trustco United Sport Club, will see several corporate companies and schools take part in a 20km walk or run winding its way around the streets of Windhoek, with athletes competing in the men, women, mixed and schools categories.
So far, 48 teams have signed up for the challenge, which starts at 14h00 at the Trustco United Sport Club with the cut-off time set for 18h00. After the relay, all participants will receive certificates of completion while the winning teams will be awarded with medals.
The ultimate aim of the relay is to encourage teamwork and a healthy lifestyle amongst individuals in the corporate sector and the general public. Entries are still open until tomorrow, September 4 2013. The entry fee is N$400 for corporate companies and individual groups and N$200 for school teams.
Team members can bring their family members along as the event caters for the whole family, including live entertainment, a kids section with a jumping castle and various activities while food will also be on sale. Entry forms are available at Bank Windhoek branches.
