Namibian Traffic Information System (NaTIS) is concerned at the growing number of “middle men” who con customers out of their money when they apply for their learner’s, driving licences and other services offered by the institution.

The conmen claim to have connections with NaTIS officials, who will facilitate their driver’s licences upon payment upfront ranging from N$600 to N$800.
There would then be no need for tests after payment.

The “fee” is quite steep compared to NaTIS fees where a learner’s licence rate is N$45 upon registration and N$35 after the test.
