Star of the Week: police detectives

Home Special Focus Star of the Week: police detectives

Our Stars of the Week are police detectives who have so far arrested four suspects in connection with the brutal murder of businessman Hans-Jörg Möller, 50, who succumbed to the gunshot wounds on Saturday that he sustained while he was trying to protect his family against the gang of armed thugs. His wife, Carol-Ann Sowden Möller, was also viciously attacked during the armed robbery. The savage attack occurred in the early hours of last Friday at the couple’s family home. The suspects have appeared in court on a charge of murder and armed robbery. Scores of coastal residents including Carol-Ann Sowden Möller this week staged a peaceful demonstration at the court where the suspects were being arraigned. Police investigators at Walvis Bay should be commended for their prompt action in the arrest of Panduleni Gottlieb, arrested last Friday in a minibus between Omuthiya and Ondangwa. Two other suspects are David Tashya and David Shekundja who were arrested in Windhoek on Tuesday and appeared in court on Wednesday.
