Kornelia Kashiimbindjola Shilunga was born on May 25, 1970.

Legislative Profile

She has been a member of the National Assembly since 2015 and will serve as a Swapo Party parliamentarian until 2020. Currently she is the deputy minister of Mines and Energy.

Education

Shilunga holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from the University of Namibia; ISS from Netherlands; Master’s in Business Administration from the Easternand Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI); Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Education and Community Health from the University of Namibia; and a Diploma in Nursing Sciences, also from Unam. She matriculated at Gabriel Taapopi Senior Secondary School in Ongwediva.
