Tsumeb Gymnasium Private School recently received a welcome donation of N$ 50 000 from Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb in support of their fundraising campaign to buy new computers for the Computer Application Technology (CAT) class the school recently built.

“Tsumeb Gymnasium is extremely grateful for this generous contribution. We are extremely happy,” said Nelmarie Nel, one of matric learners from the school who together with Lize Liebenberg received the cheque on behalf of the school and fellow learners.

The learners further noted that they hope to use the computers to prepare for the Grade 10 and 12 end-of-year exams.

“I acclaim the school for seeking innovative and professional means for execution tasks, just as we do at Dundee. Advancing to high-tech means further imprints your drive, as well as ours for continues improvement.

“Dundee believes that education primarily builds capacity for a sustainable future for the community,” said public relations superintendent at the company Alina Garises.

Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb is a precious metals-focused smelting company.
