The Namibian police (Nampol) has requested the assistance of the public in tracing trace the whereabouts of Johannes Katanga, 79, who went missing on May 26 at about 06h00 from Onhele Yafewa No.1 in Goreangab, Windhoek.

Katanga is an Oshiwambo-speaking man, dark in complexion. He was last seen at Havana four-way junction wearing red overall trousers, a long sleeve shirt with flowers, navy jacket and a blue cap, according to Chief Inspector Kaunapawa Shikwambi.

Efforts by members’ of his family and the police to trace him have thus far proven fruitless.

Johannes Katanga or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is requested to contact Ndilimeke Willem on 081-289 3328 or the nearest police station.
