A 54-year-old woman who allegedly forced a 16-year-old boy to have sexual intercourse with her against his will has been charged with rape and assaulting the boy with sticks.
According to police spokesperson Deputy Commissioner Edwin Kanguatjivi it is that alleged the woman forced the boy to have sexual intercourse with her on March 31 at about 14h00 at Onghavu location in Outapi.
The woman was arrested between April and 8 and 9. He said the two are not related, but are from the same village. Kanguatjivi said the incident took place at the accused person house.
“No arrested made as yet and police investigations continue.”
In similar case in Kavango East Region, a suspect took advantage of a 22-year-old woman, who was under the influence of alcohol. Kanguatjivi said the suspect allegedly took the victim to his room and had sexual intercourse with her without her consent. The suspect has not yet been arrested as he is on the run.
The police in Zambezi Region also open a rape case when an 18-year-old woman was allegedly raped by 23-year-old. The incident reportedly occurred at Makanga village.
