Preparations for the Tsumeb Copper Festival are in full swing as businesspeople prepare to exhibit their products at the popular happening in the copper mining town.

More than 200 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and bigger exhibitors are expected to showcase their products and services at the annual fair. This year the festival takes place from October 28 to 31 at the United Nations Park.
The four-day event, which is aimed at boosting the economic competitiveness of the town, is expected to draw large crowds. Prominent businesswoman and First Lady Monica Geingos is expected to attend as guest of honour.

For the very first time ever the festival will host a business conference that will seek to equip new business people with the skills required to do business.

This was confirmed by the chairperson of the organizing committee, Julius Gaeseb.

“People should come to the festival, and Tsumeb is ready to provide world class hospitality to visitors ,” he said.

According to Gaeseb the gala dinner will take place on Wednesday where businessman Dr Leake Hangala will be the keynote speaker.
