NSC adopts national sports plan draft

Home Sports NSC adopts national sports plan draft

The Namibia Sports Commission (NSC) presented an ambitious but attainable draft of the national sports plan, under the theme of “Creating a winning sporting nation” at its first sport codes meeting of the year held in
Windhoek last weekend. The quarterly gathering attracted a large number of delegates representing 26 different
sport codes and three umbrella bodies affiliated to NSC. Sports administrators adopted the national sports plan in its
draft format and look forward to its implementation to transform Namibia into a winning sporting nation. The sports plan is in its final stages before it is presented to Cabinet including the Namibian public at large.
The purpose of the sport codes meeting is to foster and renew the relationship, participation and dialogue between the NSC and its affiliates. The next sport codes meeting is scheduled for July 18, 2015.
