Flying V’s struggle continues in futsal league

Flying V has performed poorly in the league, suffering in the top-flight futsal league.

They suffered their 17th straight defeat, leaving them at the bottom of the standings.

Over the weekend, they lost their match-up against Ragazzi FC, losing 2-0.

Flying V have so far not registered any wins this season after losing 18 times.

They secured a single draw in the current league season.

This left them rooted at the bottom with one point from 19 matches played this season.

Chipa Shikomba, the chairman at Fly V, blamed the poor performance on the lack of experienced players in their fold.

“It’s been a difficult season. It’s not positive to lose so many games in a single season like that. The team is currently faced with various problems, such as having a youthful team that lacks experience. They have been doing their best to attend training despite their school commitments. I think players are still struggling and working to adapt to that,” he said.

Although their hopes of surviving relegation seem very slim, he is hopeful the team will finish the season on a high note.

“Yes, we hope to collect points. I believe we could win a couple of matches before the season concludes. I think, for us, we took this as a learning curve,” Shikomba stated.

In other weekend results, WIAS, who are placed 13th on the standings, played to a 2-all draw against 7 Kings.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks collected points over the weekend after a convincing 3-2 win over Ballers, who occupy position six on the standings.

Log leaders continued their great form, winning 4-2 against seventh-positioned Boston Madrid.

Demia, who are placed ninth on the standings, built momentum from the previous weekend’s win.

They recorded their second consecutive win by thrashing JAC FC 0-6.

X-Men, on the other hand, recorded a massive win over the weekend.

They won 4-1 against INEOS.

Quality FC clinched a 2-3 win over WHK Futsal.
