Tigers Football Club has officially appointed Brian Isaacs as head coach ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
In a statement, the club confirmed its full technical team, which will steer the squad into the new campaign. At the helm is Isaacs, one of the most decorated coaches in Namibian league history, credited with guiding Tigers FC to previous league glory.
His vast experience and proven leadership are expected to reignite the club’s ambitions. Supporting Isaacs are several accomplished former players who return to the club in coaching roles with Peter ‘Oubaas’ Mokwena as first assistant coach; Letu “LuaLua” Shatimwene as second assistant coach and Abiater “Fox” Nambundunga the goalkeepers’ coach.
The team will begin official pre-season training today at 17h30 at Dawid Bezuidenhout High School grounds in Khomasdal. Preparations will focus on assembling a strong and competitive side for what promises to be an exciting season. Expressing gratitude, Isaacs said he was honoured to return to the club.
“I am looking forward to the new challenge. I know there are high expectations, but with the backing of management, the support of our fans, and the commitment and discipline of the players, it can be done,” he said.
