Organisers have confirmed that following the resounding success of the popular 2014 Katutura Expo, the 2015 exhibition will move to a four-day format with traditional Sunday religious and faith-based activities.

Launching the 2015 Expo yesterday, Katutura East councillor Ambrosius Kandjii said the four-day event would be held from July 29 to August 2 at the Katutura Multi-Purpose complex.

He said after listening to what exhibitors and the traders want, “the overwhelming majority told us they wanted it to run for four days and they wanted it to start on a Wednesday and end on Sunday.”

Kandjii said Katutura Expo organisers are calling on exhibitors from government institutions and corporate Namibia to come on board in order to steer the ship to success.

The annual event comprises a trade expo of small and medium enterprises, an agriculture show of various livestock breeds and the famous traditional and cultural performances by entertainment groups from the suburbs of Katutura.
