LÜDERITZ – The Lüderitz Junior Secondary School is so full that it has no space for learners who failed Grade 10 last year and want to repeat the grade.

The school principal Besley Makaula says parents with children who failed Grade 10, and who are under 17 years old, must now approach schools in other towns.

Lüderitz Junior Secondary School has taken in 244 learners for Grade 10, leaving no space for repeaters.

The school’s Grade 8 and Grade 9 were also been filled with learners from all four primary schools in Lüderitz. The school is the only junior secondary school in the town that takes in Grade 8 learners from the four local primary schools.

“Lüderitz Junior Secondary School has no space for any Grade 10 repeaters due to the lack of space,” Makaula stated.
